Guide to Adding TXT and CNAME Records to a DNS Provider

Step 1: Access Your DNS Management Interface

  1. Log in to your account with your DNS provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Bluehost etc.).
  2. Navigate to the section where you can manage your domain's DNS settings. This is often labeled as "DNS Management," "Domain Management," "Name Server Management," or something similar.

Step 2: Locate the Area for Adding Records

  1. In the DNS management area, look for a section where you can add or edit DNS records. This may be a table or a form.

Step 3: Adding a TXT Record

  1. To add a TXT record, find the option to "Add Record" or "Create Record."
  2. Select "TXT" as the record type from the drop-down menu.
  3. In the "Host" or "Name" field, enter the hostname for the record. This is often your domain name or a subdomain (e.g., @ or subdomain.yourdomain.com).
  4. In the "Value" or "Text Value" field, enter the TXT record provided by Laylo. This is usually a string of text for verification purposes (e.g., v=spf1 include:_spf.yourservice.com ~all).
  5. Specify the TTL (Time to Live) if required. The default value is usually sufficient.
  6. Save or add the record.

Step 4: Adding a CNAME Record
