Your job is to send one personalized email to each and try to get them on a demo. We are testing a single question: are behavior-scored leads actually ready to talk to sales? If yes, we automate more of this from there.
Marketing built a lead scoring system in HubSpot. When a contact hits high-tier engagement (an engagement score of 75+), HubSpot flags them as an MQL in the #mqls channel, which marketing watches. Marketing reviews each one and routes the qualified leads into #leads, where you pick them up. By the time a lead reaches you, it has already cleared marketing's qualification bar.
These leads are different from the rest of #leads. They have not created a Laylo account and they have not booked a demo. They are warm based on behavior, not intent. They earned the score by clicking an email, opening a drop, viewing a page, or taking some other action that signals they may be ready to talk.
Your play is simple: one personalized email per lead, aimed at booking a demo.
Hypothesis: Leads scored 75+ by HubSpot engagement are warm enough to convert to a sales conversation with a single personalized touch.
What we are testing: Whether these behavior-based MQLs book demos and become real opportunities, or whether they need more nurture before sales gets involved.
Why it matters: If this converts, we automate further (auto-enroll scored leads into a sequence, tighten the score threshold, expand volume). If it does not, we learn where the score needs work before we scale it.

Success signals to watch:
You work from the #leads channel, not #mqls. Marketing watches #mqls, qualifies each MQL, and routes the good ones into #leads. When a lead lands there it posts as a HubSpot alert like the one below, and marketing usually adds a comment with quick context and tags whoever owns the territory.
