New to Laylo? Here are the terms you'll see throughout these guides.
Core
- Drop — a landing page that collects fan signups and automatically reminds them when your music, merch, event, or content releases.
- Multidrop — one drop with multiple stops or options (e.g., a tour across many cities). Fans pick their stop and get targeted reminders.
- Fan — someone who's opted in to hear from you. On Laylo you own this relationship — no algorithm in between.
- Fan List — your owned audience of opted-in fans (phone and/or email).
- RSVP — when a fan signs up to your drop and list to be reminded.
- Profile Page — your always-on public Laylo link where fans can join your list anytime, even with no active drop.
Messaging
- Drop Day Message — the message automatically sent when your drop releases (e.g., the stream or ticket link).
- Confirmation Message — what a fan receives right after they RSVP.
- Credits — what messages cost; rates vary by channel (details).
- Segment — a saved group of fans (e.g., top listeners, a city, most engaged) you can target.
- Presave — once a fan connects Spotify, they auto-save your future releases.
Advanced
- Enriched Fan Profile — deeper insight into who your fans are, beyond contact info.
- Upsell — prompt fans to take a second action (e.g., buy merch) right after they sign up.
- AI Agents — automated assistants (e.g., Abandoned Cart, Ticket Sales) that work your fan list for you.
- Embed — place your Laylo signup widget directly on your own website.
